Antitrust and Consumer Protection
Edward Correia served as Staff Attorney, Assistant Regional Director, and Staff Director for Commissioner Michael Pertschuk at the Federal Trade Commission. At the FTC he was involved in both antitrust and consumer protection investigations and litigation. After he left the FTC, he served as Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the Senate Antitrust Subcommittee. He taught antitrust law at Northeastern University School of Law and has published a number of articles on antitrust law and policy. He was also a Scholar in Residence at the FTC where he focused on the antitrust analysis of joint ventures. Correia is the outside antitrust counsel for the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) and serves as antitrust counsel for a number of other trade associations and coalitions.
